Firm & Attorney Profile | The Law Offices of Gregory D. Jordan

Firm & Attorney Profile

Greg Jordan has been handling a diverse range of business litigation and employment law matters in Texas since 1989.  He started his career with one of the large national law firms, but left to form the Law Offices of Gregory D. Jordan in 1994 believing he could provide more personal, innovative, agile, precise, hard-hitting and cost effective representation in a small firm setting.  As the years have gone by, the firm has gained and zealously maintained a reputation among its clients, adversaries and the judiciary as a superior Texas litigation and employment law firm.   The referrals from clients and other lawyers attest to this reputation.

The firm prides itself on having the ability to efficiently and effectively staff and handle multi-million dollar cases without the costly overhead and sometimes stifling infrastructure of larger firms.  Because the firm runs lean and precisely, it does not need to operate with a hammer when a scalpel is in its clients’ best interest.

Greg has been selected as a Fellow of the prestigious Texas Bar Foundation whose new Fellows are selected from 1/3 of 1% of the membership of the State Bar of Texas.  Selection as a Fellow is based on an outstanding record in the legal profession as well as a commitment to support the community at large.  Greg has been certified as a life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to attorneys who have won multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements and is comprised of fewer than 1% of the attorneys in the United States.  Greg has also taught at the University of Texas School of Law for over fifteen years, mentoring students with their trial advocacy skills.  Greg graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1989 where he was inducted into the Order of Barristers and the Order of the Coif.  He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in mechanical engineering from Tulane University in 1984 and was inducted into the National Engineering Honor Fraternity and the National Mechanical Engineering Honor Fraternity.  He is a member of numerous bar and legal associations and has been a contributing author and speaker at various continuing legal education seminars.

Greg was born in Tyler, Texas in 1961.  He is married with three daughters and is actively involved in their activities.  He is an avid marathoner, triathlete and bicyclist.

Greg is committed to pursuing excellence in the law, but also believes community involvement is crucial.  He has served on the boards of local community organizations and has volunteered his time with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Volunteer Legal Services, Meals on Wheels, NASA, River City Rangers, his church and many other organizations and committees.
